PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland Pilots men's soccer alum and standout MLS goalkeeper Luis Robles is one of 32 players called into the U.S. Men's National Team Camp by new head coach Bruce Arena. The annual January Camp begins on Jan. 10 at the National Training Center in Carson, Calif.
This will be the first training camp coached by Arena since he took over in November of last year, and comes just two months before Final Round Qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup resumes.
Robles was a four-year starter at UP (2003-06) and he is tied for the most saves all-time in program history with 346 stops.
