Robertson’s Record-Breaking Night Lifts Pilots Past New Orleans

PORTLAND, Ore. – Tyler Robertson scored his 1,000th career point early in the second half and then broke the Portland single-game assists record to lead the Pilots over New Orleans 100-61 Saturday night at Chiles Center.

Robertson scored 15 points and dished out 15 assists, breaking the previous mark of 14 established by Dionn Holton versus Southern Oregon on Dec. 9, 1995. The Melbourne, Australia native entered the game as one of just two players in the nation to average at least 16 points, six rebounds and six assists per game.

The Pilots (8-5) also tied a team record for three-pointers made after going 18-for-35, including a school record 13 triples in the first half alone.
