PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland volleyball's highly decorated incoming recruit Liz Reich is a finalist for the 2016 National (Senior) Player of the Year, PrepVolleyball.com announced yesterday. 97 seniors have been chosen as finalists for National Player of the Year, and the winner will be announced next week.
To be considered for this honor, a senior had to make a "massive" impact on her high school team and the state. At a minimum, the player must have statistics that were the best on her team at her position, and the player is typically one of the top two or three players in her state regardless of class.
