PORTLAND, Ore. --- The 2017 Diamond Dinner is approaching, and registration is still available for Portland Baseball's premier event, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 11 at the Beauchamp Recreation and Wellness Center. Online registration for the event is available, and the guest speakers for the evening are Portland baseball alums Gus Little and Travis Vetters.
The two former teammates and lifelong friends will forever be connected as Vetters donated a kidney to Little a few years ago.
The Diamond Dinner caps Portland's first home baseball weekend of 2017 as the Pilots host Northwestern March 9-11 at Joe Etzel Field.
