SEATTLE, Wash. – The Seattle University Redhawks buried 16-of-28 three-pointers en route to an 89-76 victory over the Portland Pilots Saturday night at KeyArena. The Redhawks overcame a four-point halftime deficit to improve to 7-0 at home with the victory.
Freshman guard Marcus Shaver Jr. recorded season-highs of 20 points and six rebounds, while senior guard D'Marques Tyson added 18 points to lead the Pilots (4-7).
Wisconsin graduate transfer Jordan Hill led four Seattle players in double figures with 23 points. Matej Kavas added 18 points and Aaron Menzies finished with 16 points and eight rebounds for the Redhawks (8-5).
