AUSTIN, Texas--- Redshirt-senior Taryn Rawlings continued her final season for the Pilots on Thursday by advancing out of her semifinal heat and into the 1500m final at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Rawlings' time of 4:12.45 was good for a second place finish in her heat, and the third best time overall moving into the nationally televised final, which is set to take place at 3:41 PM on Saturday, June 8th, weather permitting.
"Taryn looked great and did what she needed to do," said head coach Ian Solof. "Now the focus will be on executing her race plan in the final.
