MADISON, Wis. — Graduation student Jonas Price led the way for the Portland men's cross country team with a top-20 finish at the prestigious Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday morning at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course.
Price crossed the line in 23:38.3 to place 20th overall in a field loaded with national contenders, pacing the Pilots to a 25th-place team finish with 575 points. Portland's scoring lineup also featured strong performances from Nolan Hosbein (109th, 24:33.0), Kgadi Monyebodi (126th, 24:40.1), Trey Gannon (148th, 24:54.7), and Anthony Giesch (184th, 25:19.7). Rounding out the Pilot pack were Giuliano Scasso (187th, 25:21.
