PORTLAND, Ore. -- Traylin Farris had 19 points and 13 rebounds and Portland State held off a late run to beat Sacramento State 83-76 on Saturday night.
Bryce Canda hit a 3-pointer with 23 seconds left to make it 81-76, and Zach Gengler added a pair of free throws to cap the scoring at 12 seconds for the Vikings (9-5, 2-1 Big Sky).
Portland State had a 19-4 run to lead 73-62 on Deontae North's 3-pointer with 5:57 to go. The Hornets (3-11, 0-3) answered with a 14-5 run to get within two on Justin Strings' layup with 46 seconds left.
