Portland Scores Four Second-Half Goals, Defeat Toreros 4-1

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots scored four goals in the second half to take down the San Diego Toreros 4-1. The win puts the Pilots at 6-7-0 on the year and 2-3-0 in WCC play.

Nedya Sawan scored twice for the Pilots, Taryn Ries scored once and another goal was an own goal in favor of Portland. Sawan's two goals were her eighth and ninth of the season and marked the first multi-goal game of the season for any Pilot. The goal from Ries was her fourth of the season.

It was a fast-paced start to the match, with both teams going on the offensive.
