PROVO, Utah. --- Redshirt senior Nick Hauger ran a phenomenal race in the men's 8k at the WCC Championships pulling away in the final moments of the race to claim the WCC individual title. On the women's side, Lauren LaRocco also ran with the top pack for the majority of the race, leading the Portland women to a second place finish, with a second place individual finish of her own.
The four Portland men behind Hauger to help secure the second place team finish were redshirt sophomore Riley Osen (24:03.40), redshirt junior Caleb Webb (24:08.00), and redshirt sophomore Reuben Kiprono (24:12.
