Portland has 211 Student-Athletes Make WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference announced on Wednesday the official WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2020-21 academic year, which features student-athletes that excelled both academically and athletically. The University of Portland had the second-most honorees for this past academic year with 211 student-athletes collecting honors. Gonzaga claimed the most with 284 honorees.

In order to qualify, a student-athlete must possess at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. An athlete also must have earned a varsity letter in a sport where the conference determined a champion. A student-athlete also must have completed an average of at least 12 graded credit hours per term.
