Portland drops Shootout to San Francisco 92-89

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Portland men's basketball team shot 50 percent from the field and three-point range, but fell to the San Francisco Dons 92-89 on the road Thursday.

The game featured eight ties and six lead changes and came down to the final seconds before the Dons pulled out the win.

The Pilots (13-17, 5-10) had two players score in double figures, led by Moses Wood, who had 28 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. Tyler Robertson tacked on 22 points and six rebounds and Chika Nduka and Mike Meadows added nine points apiece.

The Portland offense was very productive from beyond the arc, making 11 threes on 22 attempts.
