PORTLAND, Ore. – In their final home match of the season, the Portland Pilots shut out the Gonzaga Bulldogs at home 1-0. The win puts Portland at 8-3-6 overall and 5-1-3 in WCC play.
Jillian McBride had the lone goal of the day for Portland, scoring in the 36th minute. It's her first goal of the year and second of her career. The Pilots beat the Zags for the first time since 2017.
How it Happened
McBride's first goal came on a ripper. Keeley Dockter dispossessed the Zags and pushed the ball up the field, finding McBride outside the box.
