PORTLAND, Ore. --- The University of Portland Athletic Department inducted six individuals into its Athletic Hall of Fame as Bryan Bothwell (Men's Track/Cross Country), Stephanie Lopez Cox (Women's Soccer), Lauren Orlandos Hanson (Women's Soccer), Richard
Hunz (Men's Track), Bill Lavelle (Baseball) and Buzz Stroud (Meritorious) were officially honored at a banquet last Saturday night at the Beauchamp Recreation Center.
The evening began with a reception, which was followed by dinner and program. The night also featured a question and answer session with each inductee.
The University of Portland Athletic Hall of Fame was instituted in 1991 and currently consists of 105 inductees.
