SPOKANE, Wash. – The Portland Pilots went 10-4 in singles on day two of the Gonzaga Invitational held on Saturday at the Stevens Center. Iva Zelic and Rimona Rouf advanced to the finals of their respective draws, while two Pilot doubles teams will go for titles on Sunday as well.
"Today was a great day for us against some great competition," Portland head coach Filip Zivkovic said. "Iva battled herself as much as her opponents but managed to play her best tennis when it mattered the most showing great poise on big points.
"Rimona has been absolutely dominant and her level of play just gets higher with every match.
