SEATTLE, Wash.--- The Portland Pilots volleyball team swept Seattle U in an exhibition match this Saturday afternoon, in Washington. The Pilots cruised through their first three sets, winning 25-10, 25-16, and 25-17.
The RedHawks then battled back to keep the following two sets close, but Portland ultimately closed out the afternoon with set scores of 25-22 and 15-10.
Redshirt sophomore Izzy Guzik, sophomore Liz Reich, and junior Shayla Hoeft each led the team with 13 kills a piece. Guzik recorded six kills in the fourth set alone to keep the Pilots from losing control of the match.
