Pilots sweep Portland State in men’s tennis

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland dominated crosstown rival Portland State in a 7-0 dual match sweep on Saturday at the Louisiana Pacific Tennis Center. The Pilots improve to 2-1 on the season, while the Vikings drop to 0-3.

Portland secured the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Nicolas Ocana and Nikolas Tvedt won 6-2 at No. 2 and then Issa Yoshida and Cade Fernando clinched with a 6-1 victory at No. 3.
