Stockton, Calif. -- The Pilots bounced back from two matches yesterday to earn their first win of the season against the Pacific Tigers with a score of 3-2.
The Pilots swept the Tigers through three sets, solidifying their victory overall. In each of these matches, the Portland 1s (Jayde Harris/Grace Zilbert), 3s (Brodie Baker/Taylor Helle) and 5s (Charity Bradley/Keilani Mumolo) duos shut down the Tigers in only two sets. The Pilots chose to forfeit the other two matches in an attempt to save energy for their double header against San Jose State University tomorrow, starting at 11 AM.
