PORTLAND, OR -- The Pilots got the job done in straight sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-23) to knock off Eastern Washington in their home opener at the Chiles Center on Friday, securing their fourth sweep of the season. The non-conference win moves Portland to 4-1 overall.
Elin Larsson paced the Pilots with 13 kills on a .522 hitting percentage, while Havannah Hoeft added a career-high five service aces. On defense, three Pilots reached double figures in digs, including Tinoa Woodward-Hart (14), Maui Robins (10), and Hoeft (10).
