Box Score PORTLAND, Ore --- The Portland Pilots recorded their third sweep of the season, extending their unbeaten streak to 5-0 with their win over Alabama State, this morning in the Chiles Center. Portland cruised through three sets with scores of 25-14, 25-14, and 25-17.
The Pilots (5-0) took an early four-point lead in the first set, before Alabama State (2-4) battled back, attempting to close the gap. Moments later, senior Morgan Robinson recorded three straight aces to extend the Pilots lead to 16-9 and sophomore Katie Barker producing two aces of her own to lead the Pilots into the final points of the set.
