PORTLAND, Ore. --- Down 10 at the half, the Portland Pilots used a second-half comeback before prevailing in overtime to claim a dramatic 71-64 win over the Utah Valley Wolverines on Tuesday evening at the Chiles Center. The win improves the Pilots to 3-0 on the year, which is the best start to a season since 2010.
The Portland comeback began in the third quarter with the help of a pair of three-pointers from sophomore Keala Quinlan, who came off the bench to spark the Pilots' offense. The Wolverines maintained their lead, but the Pilots cut the deficit to five points entering the final frame.
