LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- Portland's Corbin Powers tossed 6.2 solid innings, Tate Budnick was clutch in relief, and Daniel Lopez and Cody Hawken provided the RBI's as the Pilots edged the Loyola Marymount Lions 2-1 in a West Coast Conference baseball game on Saturday night at Page Stadium. It's the second straight win over the Lions for the Pilots, who win their first series at LMU since 2011.

Like Friday night, the Pilots (15-22, 8-9 WCC) received stellar starting pitching as Powers held the LMU (17-22, 10-7 WCC) bats silent for most of the night. Powers, a redshirt-senior left-hander, fanned eight before giving way to Budnick with two on and two out in the bottom of the seventh.
