PORTLAND, Ore. – Pilot Soccer returns to The Bluff this week starting tomorrow, with the women's soccer team taking on the British Columbia Thunderbirds in an exhibition on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Tomorrow's match will be free admission for the public.
The match will be the first action of the 2023 season for the Pilots, who are coming off their best season in nine years. Last season, Portland finished 12-5-4 and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013. They return 19 players from last year's roster, including five who earned All-WCC honors last year: Shay Adams, Bre Norris, Sophia Mattice, Cally Togiai and Isabella Yakel.
