GOLD RIVER, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots finished in fourth place at the 2016 West Coast Conference Rowing Championships, which took place on Saturday morning at the CSUS on Lake Natoma. Portland seniors Maggie Keller and Molly Templin were both named to the All-WCC Team.
The Pilots finished in a tie with Saint Mary's with 22 points each, but since Portland's varsity eight finished ahead of the Gaels, the tie-breaker goes to UP.
"The highlight of the day was the varsity eight's finish, which is the best finish we've had in our history," Portland head coach Pasha Spencer said.
