PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning and Michael Forgione came through with a walk-off, two-run single as the Pilots claimed a thrilling 6-5 win over the CSUN Matadors in the first game of a double header on Thursday afternoon at Joe Etzel Field. The Pilots scored all six of their runs during the final three innings, and the victory snaps CSUN's 13-game winning streak.
After the Matadors (18-4) had scored two insurance runs in the top of the ninth, the Pilots (12-9) found themselves trailing 5-2 with only three outs to work with.
