Pilots Rise to Second in Latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Portland Pilots Men's Soccer continues to shoot up the rankings, now sitting at second in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll. It's their highest ranking in the poll since the 1992 season, when they ranked first nationally.

The Pilots earned the ranking after what has been a stellar start to the fall season. They sit at 6-0-1 on the year after a 3-2 win over the Denver Pioneers last Friday. It's their best record through seven games since the 1988 season. Portland currently holds an unbeaten streak of 17 games that stretches back to last year, the second longest in the nation and the longest for Portland since 1988.
