Pilots Remain Unbeaten with a 2-2 Draw with American

PORTLAND, Ore. --- Gio Magana-Rivera and Rey Ortiz each found the back of the net and the Pilots held a lopsided edge in shots, but in the end Portland and the American Eagles settled for a 2-2 draw in a men's soccer non-conference game played on Sunday night at Merlo Field. The Pilots out-shot the Eagles 34-9, and Portland remains unbeaten on the year at 5-0-2.

Portland peppered the American frame during the game's opening moments as they had five shots in the first 15 minutes. Greg Tracey had a pair of hits saved, and AU keeper Lucas Manso also denied an attempt off the foot of Benji Michel in the 12th minute.
