SEATTLE, Wash.--- Portland's men's and women's indoor track teams began the weekend strong with several program bests up at Dempsey Indoor on Friday.
Maya Murphy-Cook continued a stellar senior season by claiming two personal records in both the 60m dash (7.88) and the 200m dash (25.62). The Pilot now claims second place in program history in both events.
Sophomore standout Tara Fuiten also collected second place all-time in the women's 400 meter dash with her time of 57.68.
"Maya and Tara both did fantastic tonight," said women's head coach Ian Solof.
