DAVIS, Calif. --- After spotting the UC Davis Aggies a five-run lead in game one of a double header, the Portland Pilots rattled off eight answered runs to claim a 9-6 win on Saturday afternoon at Dobbins Stadium. The Pilots (2-0) took the opener of the four-game series on Friday, and the second game of the double header is currently being played.
Davis Tominaga (1-0) takes the win on the hill after replacing starter Kevin Baker in the bottom of the third inning. Tominaga, a junior righty, would hold UC Davis (0-2) scoreless the rest of the way, while his offense provided plenty of run support.
