Pilots Rally Late, but Oklahoma Prevails at PK80

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots cut a 23-point second half margin down to five, but Oklahoma rallied behind freshman phenom Trae Young for a 93-71 victory in the consolation semifinals of the PK80 Phil Knight Invitational Victory Bracket Friday afternoon at the Moda Center.

Young carried the Sooners (3-1) with 33 points, five rebounds and eight assists, including 10 points during the late run to create separation.

Portland freshman point guard JoJo Walker played big as well with a team-high 15 points and six rebounds for the Pilots (2-3), but missed the final 10 minutes of regulation after getting hit in the face.
