Pilots Pull Away from Weber State to Win their Second Straight on the Road

OGDEN, Utah --- Portland senior Julie Spencer claims her second straight double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds and freshman Haylee Andrews scored 23 points as the Pilots won their second straight game on the road, defeating the Weber State Wildcats 89-73 on Monday evening at the Dee Events Center. Senior Darian Slaga also had a double-double for the Pilots, the first of her career, with 11 points and 10 boards.

Portland, who open the season 2-0, shot 49.2 percent from the field, which included 10 three-pointers. Spencer connected on four from beyond the three-point arc out of six attempts, while Andrews was 3-for-5 from deep.
