Pilots Post New Personal Best On First Day of MPSF Championships

SEATTLE, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams concluded the first day of competition at the MPSF Championships on Friday evening. Over half of the Pilots who competed recorded new personal bests on the day.

Junior Maya Murphy-Cook started off the day recording a new personal record of 9.36 in the women's 60m hurdles. All three Portland women in the 5000m race also recorded new PRs as well, led by senior Sophia Noto who finished the race in 13th place (17:21). R-Sophomore Stella Gillman was just behind Noto in 16th place (17:28.
