LAKE NATOMA, Calif. – The end of the 2023 season for Portland Pilots Rowing is near, with the 2023 WCC Rowing Championship happening this Saturday, May 13 at Lake Natoma in Sacramento.
The Pilots will compete in three races at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center: the first varsity four race, the second varsity eight race and the first varsity eight race. The fours will race at 9:00 a.m., the second varsity eight will go at 9:20 a.m. and the first varsity eight will go at 9:40 a.m.
Portland is coming off a strong weekend at the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships (WIRA), where the varsity four took first in the petit final while both varsity eight boats advanced to the grand final.
