PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots rowing team will be traveling to the Golden State, racing in the Sacramento State Invitational on Lake Natoma. The race is scheduled to begin on Saturday morning at 8:15 AM, and will feature many Portland boats.
Other crews racing includes host Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, UC San Diego, Humboldt State, Orange Coast College and Mills College.
Last weekend the Pilots won four victories at the PLU Invite, facing off against Pacific Lutheran, Seattle, Seattle Pacific, and Puget Sound. The varsity eights' & fours' earned wins, with both teams recording times eight and ten seconds faster than the next competitor, respectively.
