SEATTLE, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots track & field teams were at the University of Washington Invitational on Saturday. Madison Leek broke her own school record in the 400m and took 9th overall with her time of 57.62.
In other women's action, Courtney Vacek leaped 38-01.25 feet in the triple jump landing in 10th place. Anne Luijten finished 6th in the 3,000m with a time of 9:24.32 and Taryn Rawlings completed the mile in 5:10.00.
On the men's side, Jack Welch continued to improve setting another PR in the 400m with a time of 49.
