PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots women's basketball program is adding three recruits as Jayce Gorzeman (Las Cruces, N.M./Mayfield HS), Josie Matz (Tacoma, Wash./Wilson HS), and Lauren Walker (Santa Rosa, Calif./Cardinal Newman HS) have each signed a National Letter of Intent, announced head coach Cheryl Sorenson. The trio will join the Pilots as freshmen in the fall.
Jayce Gorzeman is 6-0 wing entering her senior season at Mayfield High School, where she's led the Trojans in scoring the past three years. She's a two-time selection to the All-District 3-6A First Team, and she landed on USA Today's All-USA New Mexico Second Team in 2014-15.
