PORTLAND, Ore. --- Liana Kaitu'u, a 6-foot forward out of Salt Lake City, Utah, has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Portland Pilots women's basketball program as a freshman next year, announced head coach Cheryl Sorenson. Kaitu'u joins a class that already includes Haylee Andrews, a guard from Australia who signed with the Pilots in the fall.
"Liana is a dynamic addition to our Pilot Family," Sorenson said. "Her height and offensive ability will make her a mismatch either from the inside or on the perimeter. She is a very unselfish player who is willing to perform any role in order for her team to be the most successful.
