PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland junior transfer Lisa-Marie Kaempf led a balanced offensive attack with a game-high 19 points off the bench as the Pilots pulled away from the Willamette Bearcats to win 72-52 in a non-conference women's basketball game played on Sunday night at the Chiles Center. Sophomore Kate Andersen added 13 points for the Pilots, who open the season 2-0.
Kaempf missed only two shots on the night, going 6-for-7 from both the field and the free throw line, and she made her only attempt from beyond the three-point arc. It's the second straight game in double figures for Andersen, who scored 11 points during Portland's season-opening rout of Hawai'i on Friday night.
