SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of Portland rowing team is gearing up for their second race of the season in San Diego. They'll race in the San Diego Crew Classic in Mission Bay this weekend from March 26-27.
"Our squad is really excited for this trip and the opportunity to compete against not only some of the top crews in our conference, but some of the best teams from across the country," Portland head coach Gulliver Scott said.
The Pilots started their season with a strong showing at the Sacramento Invite at Lake Natoma two weekends ago.
