PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots track & field teams will be competing at the UW Preview on Saturday Jan. 16 in Seattle, Wash. This will be the first indoor meet of the season where both full teams will be competing.
Five members of the men's team will be making their collegiate debut, including all of the members of a 4x800m team. After placing 4th at the California State meet last year in the 800m, Cobie Chavez will be putting on purple for the first time and racing in the 1,000m and 4x800m.
