Pilots Have Historic Night at Stanford Invitational

PALO ALTO, Calif./SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The Pilots started off Day 1 of the Stanford Invitational with the entire team running personal records, and three all-time marks.

The men's 3000 meter steeplechase saw Estanis Ruiz place sixth overall in 8:42.72, a PR as a Pilot.

In the men's 5000 Meter Run, Jonas Gertsen (13:54.55), Chris Anderson (14:11.41), and Ahmed Sado (14:24.54) all recorded new PRs. Lakelin Conrad also ran a new 5,000 Meter PR (14:21.49) at Mike Fanelli Classic in San Francisco, Calif.

Matt Strangio ran a big PR of 13:31.87 to finish fifth overall in the Men's Invitational 5,000 Meter Race.
