Pilots Find Success at Portland Distance Carnival

Portland, Ore. – A weekend in Portland allowed for many successful races including several PRs, wins, and an all-time mark.

Aidan Fitzgerald became the sixth Pilot in history to break the 1:50 barrier in the 800m outdoors, running 1:49.90 for fifth all-time in Portland history. His time was good for fifth in the field behind multiple competitive collegians and professional runners.

The women's 1500m was highlighted by a 1-2 finish in heat 2 by Claire Fagan and Sam Prusse. Their times of 4:27.38 and 4:29.05 were both good for personal records, as well. Tait Rowley continued her streak of personal bests in the event, finishing in 4:41.
