Pilots Fall 6-0 to Santa Clara in WCC Championship

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The Portland Pilots fell in the championship of the WCC Tournament 6-0 to the Santa Clara Broncos, ending their season. Jake Holcroft, Nich Klemp and Peter Allegro all made the WCC All-Tournament Team.

Ryan Rembisz (1-1) got the ball to start for Portland (31-23) and took the loss. The southpaw went 2.2 innings, giving up three runs, one earned, on two hits, allowing no walks and striking out two. Brock Gillis was a bright spot for the Pilots, coming out of the bullpen and throwing 3.1 scoreless innings, allowing three hits, with no walks and two strikeouts.
