DALLAS, Texas – Portland outlasted UT San Antonio in 4-3 victory Sunday morning at the SMU Tennis Complex. Sophomore Issa Yoshida provided the clinching point at No. 6 singles for Portland, which bounced back from a heartbreaking 4-3 marathon loss to SMU on Saturday night.
"This was a big win by us today," Portland head coach Aaron Gross said. "We had to turn it around quickly after a disappointing loss last night. I wasn't sure how we would respond. We got a not-so-pretty doubles point and then we had some very gritty performances in singles.
