MORAGA, Calif. --- After Portland's Taryn Ries had given the Pilots the lead with a goal in in the 88th minute, the Saint Mary's Gaels tallied the equalizer with just 13 seconds remaining in regulation as the two sides played to a 1-1 draw in a West Coast Conference women's soccer game played on Saturday afternoon at Saint Mary's Stadium.
The goal is the fourth of the season for Ries, and it came on a nice pass from Hazlett. Ries received the pass inside the 18 and had only the keeper in front of her. The junior forward then buried a shot into the top left corner of the net as the Pilots (4-4-3, 0-2-1 WCC) seemingly had the win in sight.
