LARAMIE, Wyo. --- The Portland Pilots volleyball team swept their second match of the Rumble in the Rockies Tournament earlier this morning against the South Dakota at the UniWyo Sports Complex . The Pilots continued to channel their momentum from last night's sweep against Abilene Christian by topping the Cyotes with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, and 25-17.
The Portland Pilots (2-0) volleyball team took an early lead in the first set going on several different point runs to start out ahead 12-6. South Dakota (0-2) then battled back to try and match the Pilots with a pair of kills and an ace, but Portland kept the momentum going to make it 20-11.
