PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's soccer team kicks off a double header at Merlo Field on Saturday when they host the Oregon State Beavers at 11 a.m. The match with the Beavers is the final game of the spring for the Pilots.
T2 plays the Colorado Springs Switchbacks in a USL fixture later Saturday night.
The Pilots are coming off a 2-1 win over Denver on April 13 at Merlo Field. The Pioneers have emerged as a perennial playoff contender recently, and in 2016 they reached the NCAA College Cup.
Last fall the Pilots advanced to the NCAA Second Round, which was their second playoff visit since 2016.
