SEATTLE, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams concluded their second day of the Husky Classic in the Dempsey Indoor facility with several personal bests and another school record.
Junior Jeff Thies (8:06.52), and Seniors Brady Johnson (8:07.23), Tim Ball (8:13.04), and Danny Martinez (8:15.88) each set personal records in the 3000 meter. Thies and Johnson produced first and second overall finishes, while Martinez had an impressive kick to win his heat.
Later in the day, sophomore Noah Schutte would also record a new personal best in the mile, placing third in his heat at 4:11.
