PORTLAND, Ore. – Four Portland players reached double figures as the Pilots defeated Northwest University 74-69 on Sunday in the final game of the U.S. Bank Portland Invitational at the Chiles Center. Senior guard Ahmed Ali led the way with 18 points, while Isiah Dasher chipped in 14 points and five steals.
Eddie Davis and Michael Henn added 13 and 10 points, respectively. Ten different players scored for Portland, who were unable to shake the NAIA Eagles down the stretch.
Portland led by four at the half and went up 12 early in the second period after consecutive baskets by Davis and a transition layup from Dasher made it 44-32.
