PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland starter Kevin Baker struck out 11, Marty Luckenbach recorded his second save on the weekend and Kevin Wade drove in all three runs as the Pilots topped the Santa Clara Broncos 3-2 to clinch the West Coast Conference series on Sunday afternoon at Joe Etzel Field. Wade also homered during the win, his third this season.
Wade's long fly came with the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning. With one out and the count 1-1, Wade turned on a fastball and deposited a solo shot over the fence in left-center field.
